Project Overview
Located in the heart of Subiaco, this home renovation project aims to give a new lease of life to this 130 year old heritage listed workers cottage. transforming a run down home into a grand contemporary architecturally designed family home, taking advantage of the inner city location and all Subiaco has to offer. The client’s vision was to maximise the potential of the spacious block using its location as inspiration for design elements that create a homely high end luxury feel, whilst paying homage to the home's heritage.
The design and build process has and will involve significant structural updates, including the addition of an all new rear double story addition using sustainable building design and materials, creating open-concept living spaces that flow effortlessly into the exterior. Interior finishes were carefully chosen to reflect the natural beauty of the leafy surrounds, earthy tones combined with high ceilings, and large openings to maximize natural light and capture stunning views of the nearby tree canopy.
